Request For Standby

Clear Lake EMS is proud to be able to assist the citizens of the Greater Clear Lake Area during large capacity events where there is an increased probable need of onsite Healthcare.  Clear Lake EMS offers a level of coverage available for most large public events and they are listed and described below.

Dedicated Ambulance Coverage:

This level of event standby coverage includes one ambulance with two personnel on board. This level requires the staff and equipment to remain onsite of the event until the end, without interruption. Event coverage may be interrupted in the event an onsite patron needs transported to a medical facility.

Utility Tasked Vehicles (UTV) Ambulance Cart:

This level of event standby coverage includes one UTV with two personnel on board. This level requires the staff and equipment to remain onsite of the event until the end, without interruption.

Command/Rehab Trailer:

This level of event standby coverage includes a custom-made trailer that serves as a command post or Rehab facility as needed.  It is staffed with one person and is not intended to be a standalone unit; it should work with an onsite ambulance.

Event Standby Cost:

We have two different cost for our standby services.  One is for “non-profit agencies” and the other is for “for-profit agencies”.  This is one of our ways of giving back to our communities.  All events will include a one-hour travel/setup fee.  Please contact us at roy.hunter@clemc.us for current pricing.
